On the back of the photograph is a description probably written by my husband's mother which says "This is where Mother (Marjorie Bines) lived in Barnesville, Ohio. The farm home - biggest and best house in town yet - old colonial grandeur, fireplace in every room, 15 ft. ceilings, shutters inside windows, circular stairway etc. Now is a hospital."
Marjorie Bines was the daughter of Samuel Mason Bines and his wife, Henrietta Garretson Galbraith Bines (she died in Barnesville in 1898).
Estimate this photo being taken in early 1900's.
