Richard Diegmiller

            BARNESVILLE — Richard Diegmiller, 65, of Barnesville, died
            Monday (Oct. 30, 2000) at Barnesville Hospital.

            He was born Aug. 5, 1935, in Barnesville, son of the late William E.
            and Pearl M. (Hayes) Diegmiller.

            Mr. Diegmiller retired from Evets Construction and was a U.S. Army
            veteran. He was a member of Assumption Catholic Church.

            He was preceded in death by three brothers, Mancel, Kenneth and
            Wayne Diegmiller.

            He leaves his wife, Evelyn M. (Joyce) Diegmiller; a son, Scott
            Diegmiller of Acton, Calif.; a sister, Shirley Scholik of Lore City;
            several nieces and nephews.

            Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at
            Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, Barnesville.

            Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Thursday at
            Assumption Catholic Church with the Rev. Fr. Virgil Reischman
            serving as celebrant.

            Burial will be in Assumption Cemetery, Barnesville.

Bradley Guy

            NEWCOMERSTOWN — Bradley K. Guy, 69, of Beach City, died
            Saturday (Oct. 28, 2000) at his home.

            He was born May 2, 1931, in Newcomerstown, son of the late
            Charles Bayliss and Agnes (Hall) Guy.

            Mr. Guy was a 1949 graduate of Newcomerstown High School and
            also a graduate of The Ohio State University, where he earned a
            bachelor of education degree.

            He retired in 1991 from the Akron Public School System after 32
            years of teaching math and physics. He also coached baseball and
            football.

            He was a U.S. Air Force veteran, having served in the Korean War.

            He was a member of the Church of Christ of Lakeview, Akron, and
            the American Legion Post in Beach City.

            He was preceded in death by a brother, Bayliss J. Guy; and a
            brother-in-law, Leman Clark Sr.

            He leaves his wife, Thelma (McCoy) Guy. They were married March
            21, 1954. Also surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Harvey (Connie)
            Howells of Richardson, Texas, Mrs. Randy (Linda) Martin of
            Canton, Mrs. John (Kathleen) Weaver of Baltic and Mrs. Eric
            (Crystal) Sieger of Tucson, Ariz.; two sons, Bradley Craig (Denise)
            Guy of Palm Bay, Fla., and Charles (Lorie) Guy of Appleton, Wis.;
            four grandchildren; a sister, Freda Clark of Newcomerstown; a
            sister-in-law, Rosemary Guy of Newcomerstown; several nieces
            and nephews.

            Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today at Addy Funeral Home,
            Newcomerstown, and from noon to 1 p.m. Wednesday, with
            services to follow at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Stephen Sparling
            officiating.

            Burial will be in West Lawn Cemetery, Newcomerstown. Military
            graveside services will be conducted by Newcomerstown Veteran
            Organizations.

            Association Serving Northeast Ohio, 225 W. Exchange St., Akron,
            OH 44302.

Freda Moore

            WOODSFIELD — Freda C. Moore, 88, of The Woodsfield Nursing
            and Rehabilitation Center, died Monday (Oct. 30, 2000) at
            Barnesville Hospital.

            She was born in Green Township, Monroe County, daughter of the
            late Frank and Neta (Burkhalter) Dierkes.

            Mrs. Moore was the former owner of the Moore General Store in
            Miltonsburg and was a member of Immanuel United Methodist
            Church of Christ, Clarington.

            She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy E. Moore, who
            died in 1983; a sister, Lucille Boltz; four brothers, George, Earl,
            Henry and Donald Dierkes.

            She leaves a son, Roy (Charlotte) Moore of Clarington; two
            brothers, Glenn Dierkes of Woodsfield and Walter Dierkes of
            Powhatan Point; a granddaughter and husband, Mrs. J (Jennifer)
            Knight of Clarington.

            Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at Bauer-Turner
            Funeral Home, Woodsfield, where services will be 1 p.m.
            Wednesday with the Rev. Jack Bruce officiating.

            Burial will be in the St. John United Church of Christ Cemetery,
            Powhatan Point.

            Memorial contributions may be made to St. John United Church of
            Christ, 51736 German Ridge Road, Powhatan Point, OH 43942.
