JEANNE BELCHER

            DAYTON — Jeanne Belcher, 67, of Kettering, died Monday (Nov.
            20, 2000).

            She was the daughter of Margaret Hoopman of Kettering and the
            late Richard Hoopman.

            Mrs. Belcher was a 1951 graduate of Cambridge High School and
            attended Ohio University. She retired from the Department of
            Energy Mound Facility.

            She leaves her partner and friend, Eugene Sharp; a daughter, Ellen
            Belcher and her husband, Dennis Langer of Centerville; two sons,
            Tom (Bonnie) Belcher of Columbus and David (Marcia) Belcher of
            Pickerington; a sister, Mrs. Myers (Martha) Cather of San Diego,
            Calif.; four grandchildren, Emily and Tim Langer of Centerville and
            Scott and Laura Belcher of Pickerington; Scott and Laura’s mother,
            Carol Smith and their step-father, Ron.

            A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Routsong Funeral
            Home, Centerville.

            Memorial contributions may be made to Artemis Center, 310 W.
            Monument, Dayton, OH 45402.

           

                             CHARLES BUNDY SR.

            MORRISTOWN — Charles William Bundy Sr., 78, of Morristown,
            died Sunday (Nov. 19, 2000) at Wheeling (W.Va.) Hospital.

            He was born Feb. 20, 1922, in Morristown, son of the late Lewis
            Spencer and Nellie Frances (Moore) Bundy.

            Mr. Bundy was a U.S. Army veteran, having served in World War II
            in the Battle of the Bulge and was one of the first to cross the Rhine
            River of Remagen, Germany.

            He was a life member of Bethesda VFW Post 9752 and a
            Protestant by faith. He retired from Consol Mine, Georgetown.

            He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy (Cilles) Bundy; two
            sisters, Helen Guenivere and Tabitha Beere.

            He leaves two sons, Charles William Bundy Jr. of Mt. Vernon and
            Jeffrey Allen Bundy of Reynoldsburg; two daughters, Dorothy Lee
            Rice of Grove City and Carole Lynn Greenhalgh of Marshfield,
            Mass.; a niece, Margaret Jean Malone of Hemet, Calif.; nine
            grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.

            Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday at
            Kelly-Kemp-Braido Funeral Home, Morristown, with services to
            follow at 1 p.m. with Pastor Vicky Kelley officiating.

            Burial will be in Union Cemetery. Full military graveside services will
            be conducted by the Belmont County Council VFW.

            BYESVILLE — Anna Kawa, 87, of The Beckett House, New
            Concord, formerly of North Ninth Street, Byesville, died Tuesday
            (Nov. 21, 2000) at The Beckett House.

            Arrangements are pending at Black Family Funeral Service,
            Byesville.

                                EDNA MANBECK

            CADIZ — Edna Mae Manbeck, 77, of Crystal River, Fla., formerly of
            Cadiz, died Saturday (Nov. 18, 2000) in Leesburg.

            She was born Oct. 23, 1923, in Martins Ferry, daughter of the late
            Roy Clifford and Edna Bertha (Stillwell) Haynes.

            Mrs. Manbeck was a retired nurses’ aide and a member of First
            Presbyterian Church, Crystal Spring, Fla.

            She leaves two brothers, George William Haynes of
            Newcomerstown and Ronald Kenneth Haynes of Wintersville; two
            sisters, Dorothy Nicholson and Shirley Haynes, both of Crystal
            Spring, Fla.

            Friends may call from 1 to 2 p.m. Wednesday at Clark-Kirkland
            Funeral Home, Cadiz, with services to follow at 2 p.m. with the Rev.
            Jack Visser officiating.

            Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Hopedale.

                           ANGELA MARCINCAVAGE

            NEWCOMERSTOWN — Angela K. Marcincavage, 41, of
            Guernsey, died Monday (Nov. 20, 2000).

            Calling hours will be 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Addy Funeral Home,
            Newcomerstown, where services will be 1 p.m. Friday.

                                 JUNIOR SMITH

            BEREA — Junior Smith, 71, of Olmsted Township, died Monday
            (Nov. 20, 2000) at his home.

            He was born in Oct. 7, 1929, Guernsey County, son of Ethel
            (Tidrick) Smith of Cambridge and the late Arley Smith.

            Mr. Smith was a store manager at Rini-Rego’s, North Olmsted, for
            more than 10 years. Prior to that he worked at the A&P Grocery
            Store in Berea.

            He was a 1946 graduate of Madison High School near Cambridge,
            where he played on the basketball team.

            He moved to the Cleveland area after graduation and had been a
            resident of Olmsted Township since 1951. He enjoyed playing golf.
            He was well known for his vegetable stand in Olmsted Township.

            He leaves his wife of 51 years, Myra (Johnson) Smith; two
            daughters, Mrs. Nick (Patricia) Lavdas of Olmsted Township and
            Mrs. Bryan (Deborah) Baron of Olmsted Falls; five grandchildren,
            Kelly, Kim and Brittany Baron, Nikki and Chris Lavdas; two
            brothers, James (Lynne) Smith of Austin, Mass., and Richard Smith
            of Cambridge; several nieces and nephews.

            Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Baker
            Funeral Home, Berea.

            Services will be 10 a.m. Friday at Olmsted Community Church,
            Olmsted Falls, with the Rev. Donald Wilson officiating.

            Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery, North Olmsted.
