JAMES FISHER

            BARNESVILLE — James L. Fisher, 92, of Barnesville, died
            Saturday (Nov. 18, 2000) at Barnesville Hospital.

            He was born May 31, 1908, in Belmont County, a son of the late
            Alfonso and Lillian Openshaw Fisher.

            He was a retired farmer and former employee of Akron Rubber
            Company and a member of Bethel Methodist Church.

            In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three sons,
            Rolland Loo, Harold Lewis and John Richard Fisher; four sisters,
            Golden Starr, Merle Allman, Bernice Lambert and Martha Twinem;
            and a brother, Robert Fisher.

            He leaves a son, Nelson Fisher of Clarington; five daughters, Mrs.
            Karl (Betty) Deafenbaugh of Beaver Falls, Pa., Ethel Bahmer of
            Barnesville, Mrs. John (Blanche) Jerig of Zanesville, Mrs. Don
            (Sally) Mehler of Salesville and Mrs. Paul (Mary Kay) Mathena of
            Helen, Ga.; 27 grandchildren; 45 great-grandchildren and four
            great-great-grandchildren.

            Friends may call 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at
            Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home in Barnesville, where
            services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday with Rev. Dale Epple officiating.

            Burial will be in Somerton Southern Cemetery in Somerton.

                               ROBERT FORKER

            ZANESVILLE — Robert W. Forker Sr., 77, of Bradenton, Fla., and
            formerly of Zanesville, died Nov. 7, 2000, at Blake Hospital in
            Bradenton.

            He was born Aug. 28, 1923, in Zanesville, a son of William and
            Bertha Caton Forker. He was a graduate of Lash High School,
            attended Miami University of Ohio until he was called to serve in
            country in World War II. He graduated from Columbia University
            School of Business in New York City in 1948 and was a member of
            Phi Delta Theta Fraternity.

            A lieutenant in the U.S. Army Corps, Mr. Forker participated in 35
            raids as a bombardier in the Middle Pacific on B-24’s. His medals
            include Distinguished Flying Cross with Oak Leaf Cluster and Air
            Medal with four Oak Leaf clusters. He received an honorable
            discharge as a pilot stationed at Homestead, Fla., in October 1945.

            Mr. Forker joined Northwestern Mutual Life in 1949, serving as
            district agent from 1961-1988 and was an active agent at his death.
            He was founder and past president of The Forker Co., an employee
            benefits organization. A Life and qualifying member of the Million
            Dollar Round Table 1956-2000, he was also president of the
            Northwestern Mutual Association of Agents, president of the Ohio,
            Zanesville and National Association of Life Underwriters.

            In the Zanesville community, he served as president for the YMCA
            board, United Way board, Helen Purcell board and Zanesville
            Country Club. He was on the associate boards for Bethesda and
            Good Samaritan Hospitals; served on the board of Muskingum
            Watershed Conservancy District for 20 years and the Muskingum
            County Community Foundation board. From 1967-1993 he served
            as director of First National Bank and 1990-1993 director of Banc
            First Corporation. He was a member of Zanesville Rotary and a
            Paul Harris Fellow. He served on the vestry and was finance
            chairman for St. James Episcopal Church where he was a
            member. He was also a member of BPOE 114, Amity Lodge F &
            AM 5, 32nd degree Mason, Aladdin Temple, Zavi Shrine and
            Scottish and York Rite.

            He was a member of Bradenton Rotary, Bradenton County Club
            and Gator Creek Golf Club.

            He leaves his wife, Nancy Tilton Forker; four sons, Robert W.
            Forker Jr. of Frazeysburg, Douglas Y. Forker of Zanesville, R. Sean
            and Temple Lapp of Chicago, Ill., and Eric C. Lapp of Baltimore;
            sister Geraldine Andrews of Bend, Ore.; and grandchildren,
            Margaret, Charlotte, Robert and Samuel Lapp of Chicago, Ill.

            Private family services will be at a later date. Bryan Funeral Home
            in Zanesville is handling arrangements.

                             ELIZABETH HORNICK

            CALDWELL — Elizabeth A. Hornick, 80, formerly of Pleasant City
            and a resident of the Cambridge Health Care Center, died
            Thursday (Nov. 16, 2000) at Southeastern Ohio Regional Medical
            Center in Cambridge.

            She was born Jan. 1, 1920, in Dillville, a daughter of the late John
            and Mary Kacinik Klika. She was a homemaker and a member of
            Corpus Christi Catholic Church in Belle Valley.

            In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her
            husband, Edward Hornick, who died in 1994; three brothers, John,
            Joe and Randy; and two sisters, Mary and Ann.

            She leaves a brother-in-law; two sisters-in-law; dear friends Ann
            Evancho and Kevin B. Evancho of Pleasant City.

            Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at McVay-Perkins Funeral
            Home in Caldwell, where Christian Scripture services will be 8:30
            p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday at 10 a.m.
            at Corpus Christi Catholic Church with Fr. Dale Tornes as
            celebrant.

            Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Byesville.

                            AGNES JALBRZIKOWSKI

            vNEW CONCORD — Agnes M. Jalbrzikowski, 82, of Zanesville,
            died Friday (Nov. 17, 2000) at Genesis Good Samaritan Hospital.

            She was born Oct. 19, 1912, in Zanesville. She was a homemaker
            and formerly active in P.T.A. and as an election poll worker. She
            was a member of the St. Nicholas Catholic Church.

            She was preceded in death by her parents, Michael M. and Anna
            Kulec Rostek; a sister, Helen L. Rostek and two brothers, John P.
            and Michael H. Rostek.

            She leaves her husband, Charles J. Jalbrzikowski, whom she
            married Nov. 22, 1941; a daughter, Mrs. Gary (Mary) Anshutz of
            Zanesville; three sons, Charles (Sally) Jalbrzikowski of Zanesville;
            Michael (Becky) Jalbrzikowski of Mt. Vernon and Jeffery
            Jalbrzikowski of Zanesville; eight grandchildren, Deanne (Scott)
            Hiles and Amanda Anshutz of Zanesville, Andrew Jalbrzikowski,
            Maria Jalbrzikowski and Laura Jalbrzikowski, all of Mt. Vernon,
            Jeffery C. Jalbrzikowski of Zanesville and Jessica and Julie
            Jalbrzikowski, both of New Concord; a great-grandson, Beau Allen
            Hiles of Zanesville.

            Friends and family may call 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the
            Bryan Funeral Home in Zanesville. Vigil services will be at 6:30
            p.m. today at the funeral home. Mass of Christian Burial will be
            celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Monday, Nov. 20 at St. Nicholas Catholic
            Church with Fr. James C. Csaszar as celebrant.

            Burial will be in Mt. Olive Cemetery in Zanesville.

            Mock-Miller Funeral Home of New Concord is in charge of
            arrangements.

            CALDWELL — Peter Paul Lichwarcik, 89, of Caldwell, died Friday
            (Nov. 17, 2000) at Southeastern Ohio Regional Medical Center in
            Cambridge.

            He was born Nov. 11, 1911, in Bruston, Pa., a son of the late Pete
            and Anna Lichwarcik. He was a retired employee of the former
            Clevite Company Plant at Caldwell and a member of St. Stephen
            Catholic Church.

            In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife,
            Ann Lehotta Lichwarcik, who died in 1990; a son John Lichwarcik;
            two daughters, Rose Bernardo and Anna Mae Johnson; and a
            sister, Ann Lichwarcik.

            He leaves two daughters, Mrs. Tim (Jeannie) Tennyson and Mrs.
            Frank (Dorothy) Swinhart of Columbus; three brothers, Bill Hamilton
            and Steve Lichwarcik of Cleveland and Mike Hamilton of Akron; 11
            grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and
            nephews.

            Friends and family may call 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at McVay-Perkins
            Funeral Home in Caldwell, where Christian Scripture services will
            be 8 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday at 10
            a.m. at St. Stephen Catholic Church in Caldwell with Fr. Dale
            Tornes as celebrant.

            Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Caldwell.

                                ALVIN McNEELY

            WOODSFIELD — Alvin E. McNeely, 82, of Woodsfield, formerly of
            Canton, died Friday (Nov. 17, 2000) at the Monroe County Care
            Center in Woodsfield.

            He was born July 22, 1918, in Ohio, a son of the late Leo Emerson
            and Ida Mae Umstot McNeely.

            He retired from the Board of Education in Canton. He was a U.S.
            Navy veteran of World War II and an elder in the Faith Family
            Fellowship in Woodsfield.

            In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife,
            Goldie Mae Ferris McNeely, who died April, 1995; a son, David
            Allen McNeely; two sisters, Mary Shepherd and Isabelle Fryer; and
            a brother, Ralph NcNeely.

            He leaves two sons, Joseph McNeely of Malvern and Thomas
            McNeely of Canton; two daughters, Nancy Brown of Woodsfield
            and Janice Brothers of Missoula, Mont.; a sister, Martha Reynolds
            of New Philadelphia; five grandchildren and four
            great-grandchildren.

            Friends and family may call 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at the Bauer-Turner
            Funeral Home in Woodsfield, where services will be 11 a.m.
            Tuesday with Rev. William Moran officiating.

            Graveside services will be 3 p.m. Tuesday in Forest Hill Cemetery
            in Canton.

            FREEPORT — Christopher Michael Morris was stillborn Thursday
            (Nov. 16, 2000) at Genesis Hospital, Zanesville.

            His parents are Michael Clayton and Shelby Ann Gardner Morris of
            Piedmont.

            He also leaves a sister, Samantha Morris; maternal grandparents,
            Lee and Roberta Gardner of Fairview; and paternal grandparents
            Clayton and Debbie Morris of Wakeman.

            Sympathy can be expressed by sending cards to Koch Funeral
            Home, 216 S. High Street, Freeport, which was in charge of
            arrangements.

                               EDWARD ROEHRIG

            CALDWELL — Edward B. Roehrig, 64, of Fulda, died Friday (Nov.
            17, 2000) at Summit Acres Nursing Home in Caldwell.

            He was born Jan. 7, 1936 in Fulda, a son of Dorothy Roehrig Bing
            of Massillon. He had worked for many years building industrial bins
            and agricultural silos and he owned and operated Fulda
            Construction. He was a member of St. Mary of the Immaculate
            Conception Catholic Church in Fulda and he was an avid fisherman
            and deer hunter.

            He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Albert and Molly
            Roehrig; three brothers, Terrance, Roy and Bernard, and three
            sisters, Eulalia, Valot and Freda Gill.

            He leaves, in addition to his mother, his wife, Carrie A. Sanders
            Roehrig, whom he married Nov. 5, 1966; three daughters, Mrs. Dan
            (Lilly A.) Miracle, Mrs. Skip (Mary L.) Young of Zanesville and Tracy
            L. Roehrig of Columbus; three sons, Dennis E. (Teri) of Zanesville,
            Nelson T. (Stacy) of Fulda and Edward J. (Penny) of Jacksonville,
            Fla.; two sisters, Eleanor Riski and Mary Craig of Caldwell; a
            brother Ronald (Charlene) Bing of Massillon; nine grandchildren
            and one great-grandson; several nieces and nephews.

            Friends may call today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at
            McVay-Perkins Funeral Home in Caldwell, where Christian
            Scripture services will be 8 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be
            celebrated Monday at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with
            Fr. Samuel Saprano as celebrant.

            Burial will be in the parish cemetery.

                            FREDERICK ROSENLIEB

            WOODSFIELD — Frederick E. Rosenlieb, 88, of Trail Run
            Community, Sardis, Ohio died Friday (Nov. 17, 2000) at Marietta
            Memorial Hospital.

            He was born July 17, 1912, in Monroe County, a son of the late
            Joseph and Sara Angus Rosenlieb.

            He was retired from the Switzerland of Ohio School District
            maintenance department, a self-employed oil field worker, member
            of the Unity Baptist Church and Sunday School superintendent for
            many years.

            He was preceded in death by his wife, Kathryn Lohri Rosenlieb, on
            Aug. 14, 1991; two sisters, Mildred Brown and Hazel Shai; and
            three brothers, Albert, Francis and Glo Rosenlieb.

            He leaves a daughter, Mrs. Neil (Nancy) Ellis of Sardis; a sister,
            Lula Bell Huffman of Canton; three grandsons, Bob Ellis of New
            Matamoras and Jerry and Fred Ellis of Sardis; and four
            great-grandchildren.

            Friends and family may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the
            Bauer-Turner Funeral Home in Woodsfield, where services will be 1
            p.m. Monday with Rev. Clay Folger officiating.

            Burial will be in the Unity Baptist Church Cemetery in Sardis.
