DAMON W. RUSH

                                                                   1932-2001

WOODSFIELD — Damon W. Rush, 68, of Sardis, died Saturday (May 12, 2001) at his home.

He was born Oct. 22, 1932, in Monroe County, son of the late Samuel P. and Rosa Iona (Bonifield) Rush.

Mr. Rush retired from Republic Steel in Canton.

He was a member of Laings Church of Christ and was a veteran of the Korean War.

He was preceded in death by an infant sister.

He leaves his wife, Wanda (Beckett) Rush of Sardis; two sons, Ryan (Ann) Rush of Woodstock, Va., and Jason (Cindy) Rush of Strasburg, Va.; three daughters, Mrs. Robert (Sandra) Reed of Clarington, Mrs. Ed (Sheryl) Pfalzgraf of Tuscaloosa, Ala., and Mrs. Clifford (Pam) Templeton of Marietta; four brothers, Clifford Rush and Paul Rush, both of Miltonsburg, Virgil Rush of Quaker City, and Sam Rush of Canton; six sisters, Barbara Lucas of Strasburg, Pauline Reed of Graysville, Elsie Baker of Woodsfield, Hazel Petty of Brook Park, Faye Parrish of Woodlawn, Va., and Tillie Mareno of Akron; nine grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; and three great-granddaughters.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Bauer-Turner Funeral Home, Woodsfield, where services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday with the Rev. Donald Thompson officiating.

Burial will be in West Union Cemetery, near Sardis.

DON G. HOSTETLER SERVICES

1919-2001

Graveside services and burial will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Old Washington Cemetery, for Don G. Hostetler, 81, of Old Washington, formerly of Canton, who died Friday (May 11, 2001) at his home.

The Rev. Arnold VanHorn will officiate.

Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. today at Bundy-Law Funeral Home, Cambridge.

WILBURT H. VENNON SERVICES

1911-2001

Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Bundy-Law Funeral Home, Cambridge, for Wilburt H. Vennon, 90, of Cambridge, who died Friday (May 11, 2001) at Good Samaritan Hospital, Zanesville.

The Rev. Terry Tate will officiate. Burial will be in Northwood Cemetery.

Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
