CADIZ — Riley Savannah Raber, 2 months, of Hopewell, died Monday (Dec. 25, 2000) at Harrison Community Hospital, Cadiz.

She was born Oct. 5, 2000, in Pittsburgh, Pa., daughter of Robert J. and Stacey (Waller) Raber Jr. of Hopedale.

She was preceded in death by a grandfather, Robert J. Raber Sr.; great-great-grandmother, Beulah Hawthorne.

She is survived by a brother, Anthony Raber, of the home; maternal grandparents, Steve and Lorna Waller of Sherrodsville; paternal grandmother, Karen Cunningham of Steubenville; great-grandparents, Grace Grimes of Cadiz, and Louise Cornett of Crooksville; two aunts, Erin DeLucas of Cadiz, and Denise Blosser of Sommerset.

Calling hours will be from noon to 1 p.m. Friday at Clark-Kirkland Funeral Home, Cadiz, with services to follow at 1 p.m.

Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Hopedale.

CANTON — Ruby E. Ammar, 81, of Canton, died Tuesday (Dec. 26, 2000) at her home, following a brief illness.

She was born Feb. 8, 1919, in Byesville, daughter of the late Everett and Mary Cox.

Mrs. Ammar resided in Canton most of her life. She was a Methodist by faith.

She was a member and past president of Guernsey County Eagles Lodge 386, also a member of McKinley Eagles Lodge 2370.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Elmer McElroy, who died in 1958.

She leaves her husband, Michael Ammar, whom she married Dec. 30, 1967; a daughter, Mrs. Russ (Kay) Wells of Massillon; three grandchildren, Michael, Eric and Kari Attar; a brother, Raymond Cox of Byesville; four sisters, Naomi Wentworth, Geneva Wallace and Helen McCollum all of Byesville, and Bernice Moore of Cambridge.

Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Reed Funeral Home, Canton, where services will be 11 a.m. Saturday with the Revs. Sturman Moore and Paul Rudy officiating.

Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.

BARNESVILLE — Wilford B. Douglass, 81, of Barnesville, died Wednesday (Dec. 27, 2000) at Barnesville Hospital.

Arrangements are pending at Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, Barnesville.
